Bread of Life
Bread of Life is a food distribution ministry that takes place at The Well on Saturday mornings.
Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life.
John 6:47-48
Guests are offered donuts, muffins, and coffee on arrival and many participants spend the entire morning enjoying the coffee shop environment. Each family is given a bag of groceries and often bread or produce is available. Around eleven there is a short devotion and prayer time and lunch is served following.

A Little History...The Bread of Life ministry was started in October 2008 on the vision of A. J. and Rachelle Dawson. Initially, the group met at the old “Skyscraper” Restaurant building in downtown Washington CH. In April 2010 it became apparent the need was outgrowing that space and a move to "The Warehouse" was made. In 2012, organizers of the Bread of Life program and The Well have formed a partnership believing that together they can be more effective in serving the community - and the service was moved to The Well. From the beginning, the Bread of Life has been offered through the mission program of Grace Community Church and that support will continue as the ministry moves into this next stage of growth. |
At The Well we are excited about partnering with the Bread of Life team and look forward to increasing unity between this team, The Well, and all of our community churches. A part of our mission at The Well is to facilitate opportunities for the churches in the community to work together in meeting the needs of our neighbors.
