Loads of Love
Loads of Love is a laundry ministry organized through The Well at Sunnyside. The Loads of Love progam provides people with the opportunity to launder their own clothing and bedding, increasing their cleanliness, pride in appearance, and sense of community.
When & Where?Sunshine Laundromat - 122 E East St, Washington C.H., OH Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Through these two sessions, Loads of Love can provide 80 total loads of laundry each week to families or individuals in need.
| S P A C E R | Who is Eligible?Loads of Love is currently focusing on helping families with children and the program is open to single adults as needed. Vouchers are available through local school counselors and other participating organizations. Voucher recipients present them at one of the scheduled sessions at Sunshine Laundromat. Once they are registered, volunteers will assist them with depositing coins and providing detergent. The number of loads that can be washed is in direct ratio to the size of the family. A family of four receives four free loads of laundry. |
How can I help?
Volunteer - Loads of Love is in need of volunteers to share their time and love while assisting during one of the laundry sessions. If you are interested in participating in the Loads of Love ministry, email us or visit our volunteer page for a volunteer form. List "Loads of Love" next to "other" as your activity of interest.
Donate - Loads of Love is always in need of coin donations to pay for the cost of the machines. Save your weekly pocket change and donate to The Well at Sunnyside. See our donation page for more information.
When you buy detergent at the store for yourself, buy an extra one for Loads of Love. You can drop off your detergent at The Well during Free Store hours or at Sunshine Laundromat during Loads of Love sessions.
