The Well is volunteer driven; the heartbeat of our ministry is our volunteers.

Loads of Love:

Loads of Love volunteers are needed to staff the two laundry sessions each week held at Sunshine Laundry. Check out the Loads of Love page on this web site for current times and information.

Free Store:

Free Store volunteers are needed during Free Store operating hours and for additional sorting and preparation times. Volunteers will have to opportunity to work several stations while the store is open, including check in, check out, assisting shoppers, sorting, and receiving donations.

Whether you like being with the people or prefer to work in the sorting room, we'll have something for you to do.

Administrative:

We occasionally need help with data entry, filing, and mailings. If you are interested in helping out in the office - let us know and we'll keep you up to date as we need help.

Community Meals:

Like working with food? Want to help feed those in need? Our community meal program is active now! If you are interested in participating, let us know. We'll need help with meal preparation, serving, cleanup, shopping, and more.

Angel Food Ministries:

The Well has recently partnered with Angel Food Ministries to become a host site. AFM is a food buying co-op which allows families to purchase boxes of food at deeply discounted prices.

The AFM team is in need of individuals who will spend a few hours taking AFM orders and explaining the program to interested indivdiauls coming into the Free Store at The Well.

Ohio Benefit Bank:

We are in need of Ohio Benefit Bank counselors. If you can use a computer enough to navigate this web site, you can probably us the Benefit Bank software. Counselors will assist eligible families with applying for public benefits, filing FREE income tax returns, completeing financial aid applications, and more.
